The odd thing is th at this model C920S with the privacy shutter was priced $10 less than the C920 - the same webcam without the shutter. Although the C920 was released over eight years ago, we wanted to review it in 2020 for people looking for a low-cost, high-quality webcam. The only minor complaint is that the privacy shutter clips on - a feature in one sense since you can just leave it off - but it slides off easily when attempting to open or close the shutter when mounted. The Logitech C920 has helped to cement Logitech’s reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality PC accessories. We're using separate PC speakers which I prefer to the built in stereo speakers although they work well too. The Logitech C920S Pro HD Webcam delivers remarkably crisp, clear and detailed images in vibrant colors, with natural-sounding audio.
I'm using it on a desktop PC so the wide view has been good when my wife and I both wanted to be in the shot.
Picture quality is very good and Zoom and WebEx meetings have very good audio - the built-in mic picks up everything very well. These Logitech units were out of stock for months and I resisted the temptation to pick up an "off brand" webcam at half the price and was glad I waited.
